RAN – EP2 : North American Release Comming March 2, 2006

RAN, a popular MMO currently available in Malaysia has announced an English version of the game will be available March 2nd.  If you’re interested you can download the client here.  What can we say about this MMO?  Well, since we haven’t had a chance to take it for a test ride yet, there isn’t much we can offer.  The game looks like it’s jam-packed with action and the level cap is currently 200 which means more hitting 50 and praying for some new content.  The game looks like it was designed with PvP in mind and you have the option to duel with any consenting character as you explore different zones. 

There are four class types in the game – Combat, Swords, Archery and Qigong – and currently there are three zones.  The game also includes some interesting new features such as a “marriage system”, which will allow players to hold wedding ceremonies with friends.  The game is definitely worth checking out.  After all, it is free to play although I’m not sure for how long.
