XviD4PSP Video Converter Updated – Now with iPod output! *UPDATE*

Winnydows has updated his XviD4PSP PC and PSP Video Converter today, bringing it up to v4.031 and adding a massive list of new features and bug fixes to the video converter of choice for PSP and PC users. XviD4PSP is an application for Windows that can convert pretty much any file format into another PC or PSP compatible format.

It can also interchange between the AVI, DIVX, WMV, MPG, MPE MPEG ASF MOV MP4 OGM MKV AVS to MP4 (PSP AVC, AVC), PMP (AVC, DivX) and AVI (DivX) formats. This PSP and PC favourite can now be enjoyed by iPod users too, as the friendly Winnydows has added Ipod video output to this release too!

Why pay for video encoding software when you can use this quick and easy program for free? After all, it features many things that you just cannot get in purchased software, and is constantly updated with new features and bug fixes. Here’s whats changed since the last release:

• Fixed encoding momo sound sources to PMP.
• Optimised downmix 3>2 audio channels.
• Fixed import non avi files.
• Completely rewritten work with job list. Fixed all job list bugs.
• Added “start” to context menu – start jobs from selected job.
• Added iPod output.
• Time stamps added.
• Aspect logic fully rewritten.
• Added auto correct aspect option.
• Fixed incorrect position of AC3 over DS option after resetting to default profile.
• Fixed hang on pmp muxer on slow machines.
• Many fixes for encoding DVD sources.
• Fixed encoding DVD sources ever DirectShowSource.
• Unlocked adding jobs during encoding.
• Fixed encoding files with undetected samplerate.
• Unlocked resolution box.Now possible manually set output resolution. Combination of auto correct aspect and manual set resolution can produce better results than old Fit and Safe Crop. Explane: open 4:3 source, set res 480×272 and check auto correct box – output file will auto cropped for 16:9 without aspect defects.
• Unlocked editing and deleting jobs during encoding.
• Now job direct edited, not readded as before.
• Unlocked MediaInfo context menu during job encoding.
• Added new component – Tabs with file explorers. This windows set output folder, temp dir. In next version Input folder will be used too. Also will rewrite useless context menu for this explorer.
• Now info for time, second, frames get from IFO, if ifo exists. Correct time errors for DVD.
• Added LimitedSharpenFaster filter.
• Updated Russian documentation.
