Atlas v1.8.x HQ Pack
It’s not hard to get yourself lost in Azeroth, especially if you’re a new player just getting started on your adventuring days. Heck, with all the twists and turns in a raid dungeon, even veteran players get confused and start to second-guess themselves sometimes. That’s where maps come in, and when we talk about World of Warcraft maps, we’re talking about Atlas.
Atlas is a WoW UI addon that gives users a number of additional maps as well as an in-game map browser. It even has an Auto Select feature that will make the mod automatically open to the map of the instance your character is in. Very useful, since, come on, you might be packing a ridiculously powerful arsenal but it would still be about as useful as a piece of taffy if you can’t find the way to your target.
Anyway, what he have for download today is a high quality map pack that changes the old maps from the original Atlas to new updated maps. These new maps are 100% like the ones you see on the mini-map in-game. Here’s a list of maps remade in this version:
Molten Core; Onyxias Lair; Ragefire Chasm; Uldaman; Zul Gurub; Blackfathom Deeps; Zul Farrak; Razorfen Downs; Razorfen Kraul; Scarlet Monastery; Wailing Caverns; The Deadmines; Maraudon; The Sunken Temple; Blackwing Lair; The Stockade; The Temple of AhnQiraj; Blackrock Depths; Naxxramas; Shadowfang Keep; Scholomance; Stratholme; Blackrock Spire Upper; Kazzak; Hellfire Citadel, The Blood Furnaces; Hellfire Citadel; and The Shatterd Halls
The author of this map pack, Niflheim, plans to recreate all the WoW maps, so stay tuned for those updates in the future. Click the download link below to grab a copy of the currently available maps.
