Check Marketplace action on your PC through Pipeline
For those gamers who want to spend all their time in front of their Xbox 360s playing instead of checking out the Marketplace for what’s new, Microsoft‘s Xbox Live Pipeline website will surely be considered a blessing.
The flash-based site contains pretty much all the information you can get on the Marketplace itself, and what’s cool abut it is that it lets you see what’s new even when you’re at work or in school, letting you concentrate on the most important thing the Xbox 360 was designed for: playing games.
The Pipeline is divided into six areas. The four major ones are game downloads, demos and game videos, themes and gamer pictures, and media and entertainment. The fifth section, Editor’s Choice, is essentially a way for Microsoft to let gamers know about their latest deals and offerings, like the Live Vision camera for example. The website also has a section where users can give feedback in the form of a survey, but when we last checked the survey was no longer active.
This is definitely a step in the right direction, and seeing as the Xbox Live Pipeline site is still in its infancy, we’re hoping that Microsoft decides to add a few more features to it like letting Xbox Live users preview gamer pics, themes, and videos on the site itself.
If you’ve checked it out, feel free to leave a comment on this post and tell us what you think.
