Dig Dug was an old-school Namco Bandai game that had your character going underground to hunt down baddies and kill them by firing a projectile that inflates them ’til they explode. It may have been a cute graphic for the land of the sprites and pixels, but imagine if that were on a kiddie game in full 3-D… inflatable exploding enemies and all. That would be so bad-ass!
Q Entertainment‘s Lumines was a puzzle game for the PSP that drew a lot of attention from handheld users because of its fun, tension-inducing gameplay. It was like a psychedelic version of Tetris, where you were forced to make connections using blocks made from four squares. Not only that, but you had to time your placements to coincide with the passing of the timeline, which meant very tense gameplay when you were nearing the end of your free space.
Luckily for Xbox 360 users, they will be able to grab versions of both games for play on their Xbox 360. While not everyone owns an Xbox 360 yet, you can always salivate over some fun gameplay antics from both games.
