Wiimote how to’s via Japanese commercials

Wii ad

Wii.com is currently playing host to five brand new Japanese commercials for the Wiimote. The commercial, obviously, is in Japanese. But regardless of the language barrier, you could still relate to the ads as it simply shows how to use the Wiimote.  Every individual video focuses on particular actions necessary to play the games.

The Sports commercial, for example, exhibits how to hold the Wiimote when playing tennis, baseball, and golf. The Fishing commercial shows, among other things, how to cast your line and reel in the bait. Also, it shows the action of revving up a motorcycle, for those motor racing games, and even how to open a door. For the Music commercial, two Wiimotes are used as drumsticks, swinging in the air as if there’s an actual drum set before you.

Although the video’s model is mainly the Wiimote with but a hand controlling it, it’s still safe to surmise that doing it actually yourself is a whole lot of fun. And so far, based on the reactions of those who’ve tried out the Wii, the conclusion is that it really is.
