Massive Pokemon Diamond gameplay video
With the phenomenal success that the recent back-to-back releases of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl still ringing strong and clear all throughout Gaming Land, one begins to wonder if it’s possible to ever have enough Pokemon. The answer is no, and in fact we have a massive video right here, courtesy of the lovely people from Jeux-France who seem to have been able to get themselves a copy of the Japanese release of Pokemon Diamond. Lucky them!
Barely a month old, the Pokemon tandem for the Nintendo DS already holds the record for having the best launch week for any of the Pokemon games, as well as the best launch week for ANY DS game, evar.
Anyway, this video shows our hero (yes, you) as he goes about his business in Futaba Town. Outside of town, one can count on random encounters as well as the waiting fellow-trainers who want a good challenge. Of course, Pokemon basics still apply, and you need to heal your wards while in town, buy extra monster balls, beat up randomly-encountered creatures and then capture them with the said balls. However, being inside the town doesn’t necessarily save one from encounters as, well, fellow-trainers go to town too (as they should…), so walking down the street can and most probably still earn you a challenge. So always be prepared.
While the rest of the world waits for release dates in their own respective countries to be announced (and you WILL release it outside of Japan, won’t you, Game Freak?), here’s a little something to give fans a taste of what to expect from this title.
