Wii want it! Wii gift cards at Target
For all of you Ninty-heads who have printed out the Wii countdown calendar, installed the desktop timer AND have subscribed to the the online Wii ticker via RSS, then here’s a little something more that may just make you do cartwheels on the way to your nearest Target branch.
Over at Go Nintendo, one of the contributors have taken photos of the Wii gift cards which can be found in Target. Though the store already has a history of regularly making elaborate gift cards, this one just might take the cake, what with all the celebration going on around and about the Wii.
A simple and yet special treat for shoppers, many are compelled to purchase any Wii item just to get the gift card, while many more are claiming that should they get one of these babies, instead of being used as gift cards, they will instead be kept somewhere safe and cared for as a rare collectible. There have also been requests for these cards to be placed up on eBay, and it is yet to be seen just how much one is willing to pay for this nifty little thing.
We don’t really need it, but we definitely want it anyway.
