Play-Asia offers collector’s edition figure for Assassin’s Creed pre-orders
Wheee! With the holidays coming up, as well as the imminent release of a couple of next-gen consoles, anticipation is in the air and everyone just seems to be in a shopping frenzy of sorts. So many pre-order offers, so little time (or funds).
Anyway, there IS this offer that we’re currently very tempted to fall for. We’ve just gone over to Play-Asia and discovered that pre-ordering a copy of Assassin’s Creed for the Xbox 360 will also get you a 12-inch tall, colored figure of our assassin in white, Altair. That’s right, the figure will be in color, and the photo that we have here is just a prototype, so we’ll keep our eyes peeled for the finished produce once it’s unveiled.
This collector’s edition box set of Assassin’s Creed is the U.S. version and will be sold at a total price of US$ 100, though it can be pre-ordered for only US$59.90. An Asian version is also going to be sold, though we are still unsure as to what the differences between the two versions will be. As for the game itself, the title is region-free, and will be available by March 2007.
So, do we get the U.S. version or do we wait to see if the Asian version is different? Either way, we want one.
