Tabula Rasa 101: Stuff you’d want to know

For those of you who are considering getting Tabula Rasa as your MMO of choice, but still have some questions about the game, well hopefully this will convince you as the Tabula Rasa team sits down with the Killer Betties for a dose of Q&A.

For those who are unfamiliar with this title, Tabula Rasa is an up-and-coming third-person MMORPG from NCsoft where players will get to make up the force that will go up against the malevolent alien race known as The Bane. Set in a futuristic environment, players and NPCs will determine whether the galaxy will fall or be saved.

In such a massive environment with an ultimate goal which reaches epic proportions, the TR team was quick to emphasize that each and every player will have a role to play in tipping the scales against The Bane. Each individual will be expected to take up their places at the battlefront and harness the mystical power known as Logos. This, added to each individual’s skills and specialties will count in the effort to strengthen the Resistance.

On the technical side of things, the TR team have confirmed that players will be able to fully customize their character’s appearance. As the game progresses, one will be able to find and use other gear and armor types, as well as different styles. However, only one race is available in the game, and that would be humans.

As you go through the game, one will also be able to encounter various NPCs who will accompany you in missions and lend their aid. To go to your missions though, players will be traveling via local or planetary wormhole teleportation, as well as the occasional ride on a dropship.
