WoW Forum maintenance announced
For hardcore World of Warcraft players, it was such a bummer when a few weeks back, the WoW community forums went offline. It was a good thing that the hardworking community site team wasted no time in fixing the problem. So what is the reason why we are remembering this awful occurrence?
The reason is because it is going to happen again – but only for about eight hours. The WoW community site team announced that in order to alleviate the load that their web database has been experiencing lately, they’ll be moving the forums to a separate database tomorrow at around 10 a.m PDT. And of course, while this is taking place, the forums would be out.
After all this tedious moving process, the team promises that both the forums and website should run more smoothly and remain stable. Well, let’s hope they keep their promises, they wouldn’t want to bear the brunt of their subscribers’ anger, right? With that, we suggest you do something amusing in those eight hours of downtime- feed the cat, walk the dog, clean your room, whatever floats your boat.
