If you can’t wait for Emergence Day, then you better get those lucky gears rotating. We’ll get to the point here. The kind soul that Major Nelson is, he’s giving gamers an opportunity to play Gears of War more than a week ahead of everyone else!

Come October 31, Megadeth is going to be visiting Six Flags New England to debut their GoW-inspired song entitled (quite creatively, in fact) “Gears of War”. Major Nelson has VIP passes to the event and he’s willing to part with them to give you guys a chance to participate in the festivities. There’s going to be a VIP party where you’d be able to play GoW. Also, MTV is going to be filming portions of the Megadeth concert for their “Road to Launch” show.
Here’s the mechanics for his offer:
Send me an email with the subject line ‘I want to play Gears of WarÂ’ and in the body please tell me your gamertag. Please be within a reasonable driving distance of the park near Springfield, MA. Note: You and your guest must be 18 or over to attend (sorry… those are the rules of the park). IÂ’ll pull a few random winners from the emails I receive before Sunday Oct. 29 at 12n PT. YouÂ’ll win two tickets..one for you and one for a friend. Everything else is up to you. If you get picked, IÂ’ll send you an email Sunday evening. Please donÂ’t pester me with a bunch of ‘did I win?Â’ emails.
