Elebits release date zapped back

ElebitsLittle creatures that possess the power of electricity? An anti-gravity phaser? An urban scavenger hunt? Interesting game, huh? The story goes that these little creature once co-existed with humans, but for some reason, all of them just went into hiding – thereby cutting the whole human world away from power.

But for now, you better keep that physics-manipulation gun on standby. While everyone thought that the Elebits hunting spree were to start on the Wii launch date, the game’s release has been zapped back by a few more weeks.

Konami‘s representative said that the game will now blast off onto retailer shelves on the week of December 12 or 18, depending on “whether or not Nintendo approves its latest build submission.” Apparently, even though the game is already virtually complete, they still can’t reproduce it en masse until it passes under the rigorous quality tests of Nintendo America.

December 12 is still a month away, but let’s all just hope that it doesn’t get any more delayed. We’ll keep you posted with more updates as they spark into our lines.
