Playstation Store up and ready for business
That’s right boys and girls, the online service which Japanese gamers have been enjoying for around a week or so, is now also made available to the rest of the world. The Sony Playstation Store has now gone online and is fully functional. As can be seen in the images that we have here today, those who are lucky enough to have their PS3 units this early have already successfully managed to sign up for a Sony online account, and are ready to start shopping at Sony’s virtual games hypermart.
The store itself is also pretty well-stocked at the moment, with downloadable demos, full games, and game add-ons already waiting to be purchased and downloaded. More games and features are expected to be included before the year ends.
So, with the hours rapidly winding down before the PS3 gets released to the eager public, one can’t help but recall the lines from an old rock song which went along the lines of “Welcome, I bid you welcome/ To life inside the electric circus/ Hang on, hang on for your life…”
