Garfield’s Nightmare for DS early 2007
Kennywood is an amusement park in Pennsylvania. There’s a Garfield’s Nightmare ride there. That’s all. Just a random factoid.
Anyway, The Game Factory will release Garfield’s Nightmare for the DS this March. We’re not to clear if this is only a UK release or if it’s worldwide or what. We have until March to figure it out.
The graphics are pretty. And the story is classic Garfield – the flabby puss has too much before going to bed, and now it’s a nightmare induced by being stuffed with too much lasagna, pizza, and donuts!
The game is admittedly for kids 7 to 12 years old, but that won’t stop some older folks from getting it just for the fun:
- Unlockable hidden minigames that use the DS touch screen
- Find each of Garfield’s 4 alarm clock pieces across 16 levels while defeating tough bosses of the dream world
- Four different 3D worlds: Haunted Castle, Cloudy Realm, Kitchen Kingdom, and Winter Wonderland
Our press source also gave a few facts: the comic strip is the most widely read in the world (263 million readers) and over 135 million books have been sold. That’s not only a fat cat, that’s a rich cat!
Tons and tons and tons of screenshots after the jump. Click on the Full Article link below to see them!
