Yongobongo, the genius behind yPaint, just released his own file browser/manager for the PSP, and it’s called browsR. This one’s v0.1, but man, it’s packed with features! Not only can you go all out on being obsessive-compulsive about organizing files in your PSP, you can also play music too, while you’re at it. Check out the following formats this baby can play:
- MP3OGG
- WAV
- UNI
- IT
- XM
- S3M
- MOD
- MTM
- STM
- DSM
- MED
- FAR
- ULT
- 669
It also enables you to view pictures with the following file extensions:
- JPG
- TGA
- PNG
- BMP – MUST be 24 bit
You can also open various files in the following formats:
- TXT
- HTM
- HTML
- Static ELF
- LUA
- LUA Package
Told ya it’s loaded. But I don’t think Yongobongo will stop here. He says in the QJ forums that he intends to add skin support, a copy/paste feature, and IR file transfer in future updates, so that’s something to look forward to.
