Snes9x v0.2y11J3a4 for PSP (yep, that’s the version)
A new version of the Unofficial Snes9x emulator for PSP has been released by Andon. To bring up the menu hold the L+R and push select. Full release notes on all of his updates include:
Ver 0.02y11J3a4
– Optimised state saving to write the entire thing at once
– Added support for “dirty framebuffers”. It’s a way to force the front/back buffers to be cleared on the next frame. It replaces the old draw_background function and allows gfx.cpp to notify the PSP port when text info expires or changes.
– Compiled with gcc 4.0 PSP toolchain, for the allegrex MIPS architecture. Plus minor code optimisations. This is probably the fastest build of Snes9x for the PSP available right now.
– Fixed a couple of DSP/APU issues in the 0.02 version of the PSP port
– Added a new Screen Color option, this will change the background color when using Normal / Fit modes.
You can get it in our PSP Download section [here].
Thanks to zerox for the news.
