Yep, we’ve given you guys access to an app that will help you get your Wiimote’s pointer to work with your Mac. But just in case that wasn’t enough for you and you want to see the pointer in action, here’s a pertinent YouTube video embed:
Too bad that they still have to figure out how to make the pointer work with FPS games. It’s a good thing that the guys focusing on the “tilt” aspect of the Wiimote has figured that part out already.
It is interesting to note that the YouTube poster, marcan42, says that he’s “working on a full-blown Linux driver with support for every feature known, multiple clients, and a lot more (with no ugly hacks).” Hmm… Linux… what other console comes to mind when you read Linux… nah, never-mind, that’s just this blogger being too hopeful.
