World Pool Championship 2007 (a.k.a. World Snooker Challenge 2007) screens
Snooker’s a rather odd game, for someone who’s grown up used to the idea of billards as a game with numbers on the ball. Hit the red ball, hit another colored ball, hit the red ball again, hit another colored ball… And the ref for the game is dressed like a butler, and you don’t see the high-energy breaks you see in, say, nineball. Quite the civilized game, really.
Well, whether you prefer your pool – or snooker – sedate and civilized, or with a bottle of beer (legal age limit required) at some smoke-filled dive, Sega‘s World Pool Championship 2007 (a.k.a. World Pool Challenge 2007, a.a.k.a. World Snooker Challenge 2007 if you prefer your billards civilized) tries to cover both ends of the spectrum. As you can see by the pictures below via WorthPlaying, if you don’t see numbers on your balls, then it’s definitely snooker. We ‘re wondering if snooker will be included in the US version of the game, as of course, being butler-managed and all, maybe everyone else will just break out the nine balls instead.
World Pool Championship comes out for US PSPs during the 1st quarter of 2007. No Dream Model included, unlike that other PSP pool title.
