Warthog posts US$ 60,000 loss
UK-based games developer Warthog has posted a loss of £ 31,555 (US$ 62,214) for six months ending in September 2006. The loss is attributed to the cost of maintaining the company, along with its listing on the AIM market. Warthog is now trying to conserve its resources while actively seeking acquisition.
Warthog was acquired by Tiger Telematics in 2004. It then became part of Gizmondo Studios, working on projects for the failed Gizmondo handheld device. Warthog had worked on a number of titles for publishers such as VU Games, Electronic Arts, and SCi prior to the acquisition.
