4D Rulers to return investments
Remember 4D Rulers Software Inc? The game developers that were looking for investments for them to complete their game with? The game developers that also promised that they’ll return to investors three times the amount that they’ve invested? Well here’s an update to their situation. Apparently they’ve run into some legal troubles. Here’s what their main page says:
After studying all the legal matters involved with accepting investment dollars from the public I’ve decided it is too much hassle, and will take way too long and cost too much money in lawyer fees and time to raise such a small amount of money. Sorry for my ignorance on the matter, I had no idea. I am now seeking to simply borrow the money from friends or partner with a publisher or someone with financial resources to loan me the money or help fund the project. Potential lenders or new business partners can email me. I apologize for my ignorance regarding investment laws and opportunities.
Joel Huenink promises in a post in the 4D forums that the developers will refund the money given by investors, or perhaps come to an agreement that is a loan, or a partnership, LLC, give the investors credit, a gift certificate, some games, or even sell something back to the investors.
He urges those that have sent him money to email him ASAP so that something can be worked out, as he cannot legally accept “investments.” Huenink still reassures that game development will push through.
Despite the legal troubles, their upfront attitude about this development is at the least, comforting. For more details on the situation, feel free to click our read-link below.
