Nintendo rejoins Nuremberg Toy Fair in February
After an absence which was four years long, Nintendo will once again be participating at the Nuremberg Toy Fair, as announced by Bernd Fakesch, chief executive for Nintendo Germany.
According to him, the Japanese company will be rejoining the world’s main toy show and will showcase their products from February 1 to 6 at the said fair. Through this move, Nintendo hopes to reach an audience who are not familiar with video games, such as the elderly.
In the meantime, the chief of the Toy Fair Ernst Kick is welcoming Nintendo back with open arms, and has also noted that despite the limited space available, they have managed to find a spot for Nintendo. He has also pointed out that this is a welcome development as most video game companies have already dropped out of the fair over recent years, in favor of video game-oriented events and conventions.
