Fall off Resistance maps: now with video

Ah, glitches. They’re the stuff of legend. From finding the -1 World in Super Mario Brothers to jumping off of Mt. Hyjal and floating straight into Orgrimmar in WoW, they’re those mysterious little bits of code that represent themselves as exploitable anomalies in the virtual realities we play in.

The newest generation of games are no exception. The Bunny and J Doggg (three Gs!) found a couple of other glitchy areas within Insomniac Games‘ Resistance: Fall of Man and took some time to make videos of the glitches in play. They’re actually quite nifty, if not useless in actual play.

Of these, perhaps the most disturbing is the last one, where someone stays under a descending elevator. We shudder to think what would happen if it there weren’t any glitches and the descending elevator really was coming down on our heads. In any case, here are three more videos of these oft-seen but rarely recorded map glitches.
