More BioWare titles slated for episodic content
BioWare has already revealed plans of releasing episodic content for the upcoming Xbox 360 game Mass Effect, but as it turns out, Mass Effect isn’t the only one slated for episodic releases.
In an interview with CVG, BioWare CEO Ray Muzyka said that they have “big plans afoot at BioWare for post-release and episodic content for upcoming cool BioWare games like Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Jade Empire: Special Edition and other upcoming BioWare titles, both on console and PC.”
Regarding online initiatives, Muzyka expressed excitement about the amount of innovations “in the PC space in online games.” With Blizzard’s World of Warcraft and other MMOs continuing to expand the MMO business, Muzyka also said that BioWare is getting ready to jump into “that world” themselves through BioWare Austin’s upcoming MMORPG title, along with digital distribution and episodic content.
