Well, Sega‘s much-anticipated title, Virtua Fighter 5, will finally hit retail stores in the U.S. on February 20. As far as Europe is concerned though, it has been reported that this versus game is included in the launch title lineup. But before you guys head out into the sunshine to get a copy of this game, there’s one other thing that you have to know first.

For one, IGN has apparently teamed up with the game’s developers and created their its own in-game character. According to them, Sega gave the company one of the brawlers and allowed the IGN folks to customize the character as they liked, from the character’s name, taunts, appearance, and even costumes.

The hidden character has been named Ryuutoushi, which literally means “Dragon Champion”. IGN added that the Dragon Champion utilizes the same technique that was made popular by Bruce Lee, Jeet Kune Do. Aside from moving like the master himself, Ryuutoushi will also be using Lee’s own catchphrases whenever he faces off with challengers. Unfortunately, the IGN character is not playable, but players can face off against him when they activate the game’s Quest Mode. Oh well.
