Black Wii pre-orders now possible?
And yet again, it’s one of those times when we’re left wondering if we’re looking at a sign of things to come, or just some weird anomaly that has been brought about by misinformation.
Anyway, what we’re talking about is this particular item that is posted on the website of Grattan, a UK-based retailer. As the screenie shows, this page advertises the BLACK Nintendo Wii for £ 279.99, although a note has also been added at the bottom which reminds everyone that “Nintendo have [sic] delayed plans in making this colour until later in 2007.“
We’re pretty sure that they could not have mistaken this for the white Wii that we’re used to, as they have a separate product page for that.
So, would the fabled candy-colored Wiis soon be hitting retail and it just so happened that Grattan has let Nintendo’s cat out of the bag before its time? Or is this another one of those cases where the product page will just simply disappear the next day once someone realizes that they made a major mistake?
