Wiimote rechargeable battery for Japan?
Well, well, well. What do we have here? We don’t know about you but it looks like a Wiimote rechargeable battery to us. Actually, much has been said about this before, and it’s not entirely new. In the past months, a number of third party accessory manufacturers like Nyko and Joytech have come up with their own Wiimote charge stations.
We don’t need to reiterate the importance of this for all Wii users. For all we know, all those controller accidents in the past may have been caused by a low-level batt and not by overzealous players swinging their Wiimotes to no end. The sensors, of course, tend to become weaker without energy supply.
Anyway, the rather bummer thing about this one is that it looks like they’re headed only to Japan, or that is what one commenter is saying. What do you think guys, looks legit enough? If this turns out to be true, this is rather good for all of us. After all, good stuff originally slated for Japan are slowly finding their way here.
