Here Comes A New Challenger – Seargent007’s method to downgrade (yet conceptual)
UPDATE: Scott just emailed us what will happen after the last scene in Seargent007’s video, that seems… upset. You can get the download of Scott’s version [here]. But just don’t give up already. Seargent007 said it’s not working in this conceptual release, and the “already installed” error is now being looked into. Let’s hope so…
NOTE: This downgrader is for demonstrating the concept ONLY, it is not working now. The author will make a working version very soon. ALSO, using this program might damage your PSP, try at your own risk.
While we are all waiting for Yoshihiro’s downgrader, someone did want to try on his own! Here is what the author, Seargent007, said in his readme of this conceptual downgrader:
Seargent007’s method to downgrade. (requires 2 MS)
NOTICE, THIS IS SO YOU CAN ACHIEVE NEARLY THE SAME RESULTS AS MY VIDEO, I MYSELF BYPASS THE ERROR YOU WILL RECIEVE.
Take the file in the zip 1.5 hacked and put it in your PSP->GAME->UPDATE folder
Take the file in 1.5 real and do the same on another MS
Start the first one and swap into the second one. the update will start and then say about you having the latest version. AS i said
i have my own second file which doesnÂ’t fall victim to this message, but it is incomplete and i therefore cannot release it.
So, he hasn’t completed it yet, but we could start to expect now. 🙂
