Cellar of Rats to provide music for Pieces of Eight
Hidden Sanctum has just announced that they have inked the deal with sound designer, composer and producer, Cellar of Rats, to provide the sounds and orchestral scores for their upcoming point-n-click adventure PC game called Pieces of Eight.
Hidden Sanctum founder Eric McConnell says,
We are incredibly enthusiastic to have the artist Cellar of Rats involved with Pieces of Eight. His work with Nucleosys on Scratches to provide special sound effects and haunting music proved to us that he can deliver exactly that which we’re looking for, for Pieces of Eight. As you know, Cellar of Rats’ musical style combines dark ambience, obscure synthetics, and orchestral scores. But to see (or hear) just how that kind of style will blend in with the 1600’s Carribean piracy crack down theme of Pieces of Eight, we’ll have to wait until Q2 this year to find out.
