USB Wiimote Charger
As much as we’d like this to be a DIY Wiimote mod it isn’t. Good news is that it should cost you only around US$ 29.
Sanko is about to release a charging station for the Wii remote controllers. The charger is said to utilize the Wii’s USB port. All you have to do is replace the battery cover with the packaged battery pack and then you’ll be able to use the charger.
Charge time takes around three and a half hours and each charge should last around 25 hours.
Each charger is sold separately, and as mentioned, should set you back by around US$ 29. You can save a bit by buying a two-pack which should cost around $53.
Sanko’s charging station differs from Nyko‘s (which will soon be released in North America) in that Sanko will release charge stations separately.
