Hayashi: No Ninja Gaiden Sigma for 360
It’s rumor-squashing time, and for this episode, Ninja Gaiden Sigma director Yosuke Hayashi will be holding the hammer. The rumor in question? An Xbox 360 version of the next-gen remake of the Xbox classic Ninja Gaiden Black.
In an interview with CVG, Team Ninja‘s Hayashi said that whispers of a secret 360 version already in development were nothing more than rumours. Said Hayashi, “I would take that rumour as proof that people’s expectations for Sigma must be very high. But it is just a rumour.”
It seems like Hayashi didn’t quite aim for the rumor’s vulnerable spot for massive damage, though, as that statement doesn’t sound like a flat-out denial. We’ll be keeping a close watch on this so keep checking back here on QJ for more updates.
