Def Jam: Icon screenies: with girls in ’em this time
Hip-hop fans who want both their music and their games working together may want to start marking down March 6 on their calendars. Why? Because that’s the date that Def Jam: Icon will be hitting retail shelves.
A cross between UFC, MTV, GTA, and… um, The IdolMaster, Def Jam: Icon will find players as an underground producer who is just starting in the music world. It would then be up to the players on how they’ll be able to establish a record label, sign artists, release chart-topping albums, and ultimately make their way up that ladder of fame… that is, without getting thrashed and stabbed in the back by competitors. On top of that, this title from Electronic Arts will not only allow players to listen to tracks from artists like Konkrete, Sean Paul, and Ludacris, but they’ll get to encounter these artists within the game as well.
Other things to look forward to in this game would be interactive environments, new venues for fights, music that affects the environment, and the Custom Soundtracks feature which allows players to upload their own music to use in the game. And let’s not forget the girls.
