Don’t blink! Sonic and the Secret Rings screens get scorching hot
North America is getting Sonic and the Secret Rings earlier than everyone else on February 20 – that’s a week from now! And just before they let Blue Bomber Hedgehog race off to retail shelves with this Wii-exclusive title, Sega decides to show off a couple more screens for everyone’s enjoyment.
While we’ve seen much of the Dino-Era stage, these screens show the Desert Oasis world of the game. Arabian palaces, sand-dusty corridors, flame-throwing baddies… This is possibly the reason why the game was formerly called “Sonic Wild Fire“. These screens look scorching hot – and that’s not just because they’re set in the desert. You can actually see some tricks that Sonic pulls off in some of the screens.
