New screens from new Tekken 6 site
Fans of Namco Bandai‘s popular versus game will now have the latest installment to look forward to, as Tekken 6 finally makes its presence known. Earlier today we were able to see the trailer for the upcoming Japanese arcade version of the game, and now what we have are fresh screenies as well as a pair of wallpapers, straight from the still-sorta-empty official Tekken 6 site.
As people may have noticed, the game introduces yet another two characters to the Tekken menagerie: Leo and Zafina. Though we still have no information about these new characters, some Tekken aficionados among our staff have already started debating whether Leo’s fighting style resembles a cross between Jun Kazama and Julia, and whether Zafina’s moves resemble either Christie’s or Lili’s. One was given strange looks for commenting that Zafina seemed like Dragunov’s relative (and all this just from watching the trailer…).
Anyway, while we wait for the official site to start filling up with more information, here are the screens and wallpapers, as promised. Hopefully, the site will also start telling us just when exactly in 2008 this game will reach the PS3.
Thanks to elks86 for the tip!
