UK soccer promo nets winners a Wii
Europe calls it football, while America calls it soccer. When there’s a Wii at stake, we just like to think of it as “the best darned sport ever.” At least, that ought to be the plan, as football stadiums in the UK play host to a series of promotional Wii matches.
Details are still sketchy, if the promo pic to the right is anything to base it on. They’ll be picking two people to go and play head to head with a Wii in front of thousands of spectators, and if you win, you get a Wii. Of course, they don’t mention what game will be played, much less what you have to do to be eligible to win, but at least there’ll be multiple venues for you to try and win a prize.
To our UK fans, you’ll have to wait for March to see this new promo come to life. Till then, you may want to practice your Wii game… if only to earn yourself an extra console.
