Zelda: Ocarina of Time – No Rumble on VC
Back in November Nintendo confirmed that there would be no rumble support with their Virtual Console on the Wii, leaving a handful of gamers upset and others like me not caring as we never bought the Rumble Pack for the N64. One site seems to be reporting this as something “new” when in fact this realization came several months ago.
The Rumble Pack was always an optional attachment you could purchase for your controller and was never “required” to be used in conjunction with a game. In Zelda (N64) the rumble feature was used to detect the location of nearby hidden caves, although these were still accessible and discoverable by those without the pack. You’ll still be able to completely play the game without this rumble feature and many gamers before have done the same. This post was just to clarify that this game does not support rumble on the VC and you’ll still be able to complete the game 100%.
