Spark Unlimited hires 2 new people
Call of Duty: Finest Hour maker, Spark Unlimited, has announced two new members hired: Amos Marvel as HR Director and Bill Perkins as visual development supervisor.
Amos Marvel has worked for Disney Feature Animation Studios as well as Insomniac Games before being hired by Spark Unlimited. The game company says they chose Marvel as the new HR director to play a key role in recruitment efforts as well as to establish a distinct identity for the company.
Meanwhile, Bill Perkins is an animation art veteran who has worked with Spark on a freelance basis from his own High Street Studio, founded in 2001. Perkins lent his talents to Spark in past projects, including Turning Point: Fall of Liberty. He has also worked on a number of film projects including “Shrek,” “Space Jam,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Iron Giant,” “Fantasia 2000,” and “Aladdin.”
HR director Marvel is looking forward to adding fresh new talent to Spark; talent that will help the company define the future of game development. Perkins also relates that, grateful as he is for his filming career, gaming is a whole new world for him to explore and he is excited to inject some of his own ideas into Spark games.
