World of Warcraft: what’s next for The Caverns of Time?

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade - The Caverns of Time - Image 1Keeper of its namesake, The Caverns of Time is the single location that links the World of Warcraft player to the most historical points in Warcraft‘s story. It is here that time-lines cross paths, and through the winding passages, players will be able to travel back and forth through time.

It is also the launch point for raid instances where the bronze dragonflight recruit mortals to help them keep time untouched. For inside the mysterious Caverns of Time lies three instance portals, each one leading to a new instance, four bronze dragons, towers, damaged ships, monuments and frozen denizens.

For someone as curious as Kermras, a level 70 Night Elf Druid, there is much to guess at what new content Blizzard will be adding to The Caverns of Time. He openly asked if there would be more in the future in a thread asking about the lonely damaged ocean vessel inside the caverns. Drysc replied with only one word: “Perhaps.”

And once again, the reply drew another storm of speculative fans into the thread, some serious and some otherwise. There has been suggestions from the Horde Exodus fleet to the Stormrage fleet, ideas behind the story of the Buccaneer pirates, some even as humorous as excerpts from Diablo II: “The Cow Level”…with boats.

So what’s your idea?
