PSP Basilisk II Files Updated
Sanguinus and his friend recently updated ChaosKnight’s Basilisk II files, improving its ability to work on the PSP, as well as adding some additional files for people to use in conjunction with the application.
Basilisk II is a Mac open source emulator which will essentially run Mac OS7 on your PSP. Sanguinus also added that he and his friend “put together a freeware tool we found on the internet for editing DSK files. Also, we have made a DSK file with a game of checkers on it and a game of chess also a JPEG viewer.”
Here are some additional notes for you to think about. Sanguinus notes that if you want to install it, just extract the files into your game folder and run the application. Enjoy!
- It is surprisingly quick.
- Some window moving things cause it to hang, such as scrolling the horizontal scrollbar.
- Shutdown causes it to hang, so just use Home button to quit.
- Installing Quicktime is virtually impossible. I spent several hours trying without success as after it was installed it caused it to hang after booting.
