Just a quick heads-up for the for Dungeons and Dragons Online (DDO) gamers as we announce another round of game updates. This list will be dealing with the Training Academy’s release notes, with the first order of business discussing the revamped enhancements system.

As Samera explained, the enhancements overhaul allowed players to keep their old enhancements even as they spent action points for newer enhancements. This in turn meant that players now will not have to “unslot” old enhancements to make room for the new sets. Players will no longer be limited to four slots, and will now be able to branch out to more enhancements lines as compared to before.

Now, in case this sounds confusing, there was also the assurance that familiar enhancements would remain in some form. Players who are worried about building around a specific set of enhancements can rest easy knowing that the newer sets should contain characteristics they’re familiar with, hence are easy to use.

Accordingly, players will find that upon logging in, their current enhancements will be wiped, with an appropriate amount of action points being returned, ready for their next session with the trainer.

Lastly, there’s the matter of the new enhancements available for use. “Enhancements that improve a clericÂ’s turning ability, give extra uses per day of action boosts, or allow spellcasters to use wands to greater effect for example,” as Samera said.
