How-to: LED nunchuck mod tutorial
Looking to add a little zing to your Wii? Here’s a cool and, best of all, simple tutorial from WiiCade forum member Finch on how to add a LED light to your Wii’s nunchuck controller. It requires a bit of soldering experience, but other than that, it’s pretty simple and straightforward. Check out the pics below for a look at the final product.
Here’s what you’ll be needing:
- one nunchuck (of course)
- a Tri-wing screwdriver
- needle nose pliers
- one 3mm LED in your choice of colour
- soldering iron and solder
A Tri-wing screwdriver’s made to screw and unscrew screws with Y-shaped slots. They’re not very common, but you can hopefully find one at a hardware or retail store near you. For the full tutorial, click on the read link below.
