Turtle Beach: Ear Force D2 headset for the DS

While the rumor mill spins on Nintendo’s plans for a DS headset, we’ll be taking a look at one that is already out in the market. The Ear Force D2 headset, manufactured by Turtle Beach Systems, is now available for purchase at Circuit City, Best Buy, and Turtle Beach for a price of US$ 19.95, and comes along with these features:

• Hear every bleep, blip and bark from your game in full stereo sound.
• Adjustable microphone makes it easy to speak or sing when playing interactive games.
• Designed for hours of comfortable play on your DS or DS Lite.
• Play on the road or at home – without the world hearing you.

As seen in the picture above, the D2 also comes in the DS’ more common colors (white, pink, black), ensuring that color mismatches are kept to a minimum. Unfortunately, they don’t appear to carry a blue headset, which may leave the corresponding DS owners feeling, well, blue.
