When it comes to NiGHTS into Dreams (NiGHTS), for the past few weeks now what we’ve been seeing are just silhouette apparitions of the much-loved video game in various magazines. At first, it was hard to confirm if this was going to be a reality especially when creator Yuji Naka mentioned that he doesn’t want the project as of the moment.

The confirmation finally came from magazine GameReactor. Some of you doubted the magazine’s article because it could be one of ’em April Fools joke. We’re telling you right now to believe because here comes another confirmation: gaming site Jeux-France managed to get a copy of Portuguese magazine Maxi Consolas and what do you know, NiGHTS is also there.

Not only that, the magazine also posted several scans and screenshots of the new game as well as provided some details. Accordingly, the graphics of the original version of the video game will be preserved, so you won’t feel differently and a bit lost when you finally get your hands on NiGHTS.

The maximum number of players is two and Sega will be adding new characters and an online mode. Of course, the game will definitely use the Wiimote but Maxi Consolas wasn’t able to say how. If you’re still in doubt, wait for the official confirmation from Sega sometime this week.
