Dragon Quest Swords gets Japanese release date
Go Nintendo reports that Dragon Quest Swords, Square Enix‘s upcoming title for Nintendo’s next gen Wii videogame console, has been dated for release in Japan. Those who wish to import the game can expect it to hit Japanese retail stores on June 28. Previous reports had this title slated for an ambiguous Spring release.
Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors is a spin-off of the popular Dragon Quest videogame series. The gameplay is reminiscent of games that fall into the FPS genre, but instead of a gun, gamers will wield a sword and various spells to take care of the enemies they chance upon through the course of the game.
As part of one of Square Enix’s most popular and enduring franchises, this title is expected to be a major console-moving release for the Wii. For more previews of Dragon Quest Swords, check out these previous QJ posts.
