Three classics go live for VC Europe
If we’re not mistaken, there are a total of 73 classic titles available on Wii’s Virtual Console (VC) for Europe. A lot of choices in there, eh? Yeah, we know, but good ol’ classic fun is not about to stop yet as three more video games have gone live for the Virtual Console. These games are Pac-Man, ActRaiser, and Bonk’s Revenge.
What more can we say but the hungry yellow-sphere is back and its hungrier than ever! Pac-Man originally appeared back on 1993 on Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). All a player has to do is eat everything in sight and avoid ghosts. In the event that you manage to eat those bigger pulsating pellets, it’s your hungry fellow’s turn to scare the life out of these enemies. Pac-Man now costs 500 Wii Points.
Super Nintendo original ActRaiser, on the other hand, is priced at 800 Wii Points. This game was really remarkable at the time of its release as it combined elements of side-scrolling video games as well as simulation ones. In this game, you somewhat act like a god during the simulation segments because you have to protect and guide a human civilization as the people evolve and grow. Then you will take on the role of a warrior and battle enemies who are threatening your people.
Lastly, Bonk’s Revenge comes from the platform genre with a rather comical twist to it. It first appeared in 1991 on TurboGrafx. In this title, you play as Bonk and go against evil dude King Drool III. The title costs 600 Wii Points.
