Project Treasure Island Z – a fleet of screenshots, art and gameplay video
Last month we got the first info about an upcoming Capcom Wii exclusive title called Project Treasure Island Z. Today, we got a barrage of new info about it including an armada of art, screenshots and a gameplay video.
Project Treasure Island Z (working title) centers on the adventures of a trainee pirate named Zack. The story’s much like One Piece where they are searching for a mythical treasure hidden by a pirate. Now just replace Gold Roger with the pirate Barbaros. Anyway, gameplay’s a mix of puzzle solving and adventure. Here’s the additional features:
- Make full use of the unique Wiimote controller to explore and interact with the environment
- Seven themed stages each including multiple sub-areas: Jungle ruins, ice temple, airship, ancient castle and more
- More than 20 sub-areas to explore
- Variety of distinct bosses
- More than 35 enemies to encounter and outwit
- More than 80 objects to manipulate
- More than 500 items to search for and collect
- More than 40 hours of gameplay
Project Treasure Island Z will hit the shelves come Fall this year and will retail at US$ 39.95 (SRP). Oh and in case you’re wondering why QJ is posting old screenshots – check them out again. Some of us here at QJ central played spot the difference with them for a few minutes. Enjoy!
