New screenshots from Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles

So, zombies. You get a whole lot of these undead creatures in Capcom‘s upcoming Wii title Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles. You can also see a few of them in the screenshots below. Don’t get too familiar with them, though, as they’re out to take a bite off of you. How do you prevent them from doing that? Why, by shooting them all the way to hell, of course.

With the use of the Wii’s motion-sensing controller, players can take aim and fire away at any and all enemies in Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles. This action/shooter hybrid takes a bot of a detour from the story progression of Capcom’s Resident Evil series and reveals the back story behind the fall of the Umbrella Corporation. Players will be able to explore locations from previous Resident Evil titles and even meet some familiar faces along the way.

We’re all still waiting for an official release date for Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, so in the meantime, check out these new screenshots.
