Take-Two to distribute Silverfall in Europe
For the longest time, PlayStation Portable (PSP) fans have been clamoring for a good RPG title for the handheld. Well, newly announced video game title Silverfall could be the answer to your wishes. The title first appeared on the Games for Windows (PC) format and is being tweaked to fit the PSP’s hardware and features better.
The video game’s developer, Monte Cristo Games, just announced that it has inked a deal with publisher Take-Two Interactive. The partnership gives the publisher rights to distribute and sell the title in Europe starting June 2007.
Take-Two International Managing Director James Ellingford mentioned, “We are thrilled to be working with Monte Cristo Games to bring this title to European consumers. Silverfall is another great game for the PSP system and weÂ’re confident players will find this pure action RPG adventure highly rewarding.”
Silverfall is set in a fantasy world where nature and technology collide. Here, players are required to choose between the two great forces that will ultimately alter his/her destiny. Some of the game’s other features include:
- An RPG experience with total freedom on character evolution
- A journey into amazing and beautifully rendered fantasy worlds
- A tactical approach to combat – more than 80 character attributes allow for a high level of customisation as you fight your way through 35 creatures and seven bosses, each with specific strengths and AchillesÂ’ heels
- Constant rewards and active exploration through a vast treasure trove of items to collect
- Head-to-head multiplayer mode up to four players and two player cooperative mode
- Multiple gameplay and combat choices (nature / technology / magic / melee / ranged)
No word yet about the release of the game, but we sure hope it’s soon.
