Pro Cycling/Tour de France 2007 announced for PSP and PC platforms
French video game development studio Cyanide and publisher Focus Home Interactive announced today the latest addition to the Pro Cycling Manager series, Pro Cycling Manager/Tour de France 2007. The new title will be available on the PlayStation Portable (PSP) and Games for Windows (PC) platforms.
Pro Cycling Manager has already gathered a following among PC gamers while this is the first time that handheld users will be able to try the game. Both versions of the game will be available this coming June 20.
Aside from the racing aspect of the title, another noteworthy feature is its Management Career Mode. Cyanide said that this mode now offers a more intuitive interface, transfer system, simulation engine, and scouting tools after a significant re-working. Likewise, Tour de France 2007‘s Real Time Mode has also been improved given its new AI and enhanced graphics.
Aside from the above mentioned, other gameplay mode will include Time Trials, Sprints, and Optimized Race Lengths. The title also sports the 20 official teams and their star cyclists as well as a five season-long careers. The screenshots included in this article are for PC but Focus Home Interactive said that they should give fans an idea of how the PSP version will look like.
