That mini-keyboard’s called a chatpad
Here’s a sad pathetic attempt at decoding a recent Joystiq report on the Microsoft Xbox 360 keyboard. We feel that a translation is needed as some folks might have difficulty understanding the creative use of “lol-kitteh” text in the said report. Here goes nothing:
Following the Xbox 360 spring update, the console’s new instant messaging feature makes the use of the Xbox 360 qwerty keyboard all the more necessary. Previously given the placeholder name of TID or text input device, the upcoming messaging peripheral is referred to as the “Chatpad” in the spring update’s help document.
To find the said document, head to the new Marketplace blade, select the “learn more” ad block, then select “More Details”, then “Windows Live Messenger.”
There? Helpful? Anyhow, to learn more about Lol-kitteh speak, feel free to head to some helpful reading via this link. To learn more about the new “Chatpad”, fire up your Xbox, and head to the aforementioned primer.
Kthxbai (…sorry can’t help myself)!
